Today, in the spirit of imbueing teamwork and cooperation, I told my P1 and 2 class that they are now a family and they need to look after each other.
So they cutely asked me, "who's our father?"
I said "God- the father in heaven!"
They asked me, "who's our mother?"
"I am!" And they all smiled and agreed.
So today at recess, I sat and accompanied them as they ate.
They were sharing food with each other, and talking at the top of their voices trying to tell me all about themselves.
It's encouraging how fast these children learn.
Sometimes we just don't give children enough credit!
