It's been a while, but I think I've finally got into the running/jogging zone again.
So far in the last week I've made it 3 times.
The first 2 times were pretty laborious seeing how it's been months since my last real jog.
But today I managed a nice 30 minute run, running most of the way... only taking short walk-breaks a few times.
It's hard running by myself again.
I've always been more or a social-sport-exercise person.
Running in MC was easier to keep up because I was usually able to find someone to run with.
Or else I just enjoyed the scenery.
Luckily Bishan Park isn't so far from my house - so I get a nice warm up running to the park itself... good to have a destination in mind when running.
However, I wish I had a running partner.
Oh well.... I think the most important thing is to have determination and a destination.
Guess that applies to life as well.
You can't just run blind... yes, it's good to enjoy the scenery, kick back and take easy now and then... but ultimately life is a lot more meaningful when you have a destination.. a goal... a point of focus.
Sometimes, though, it's pretty hard to keep that in mind... :p

I know what you mean!
It sucks when I had to jog alone...but I'm slowly getting used to it. The rest jog or go to the gym at 6 am, haiyoh! Wish I have an Ipod Shuffle with me during my jogs...then I don't have to feel too awkward jogging alone.
We're having Joggerthon this Sunday...wish you were here to participate because I'm planning too (no matter how unfit I am...it's a cool project!).
Awwww man! Can't believe I leave then u guys organise Jogathon! *smack forehead*
No ipod nemmind lah - use ur phone! ;) That's what I did yesterday cuz I couldn't find the charger for my ipod.... and plus (over here) using phone can listen to radio. :p
