Just came from the neighbourhood library.
While it is definitely more posh, has more variety of materials and books, it's not an ideal place to study or do assignments. Simply cuz there's one thing it lacks:
BIG TABLES.
There were tons of people sitting on the floor, on sofas and armchairs... but I only managed to spot about 4 large tables. 4 storeys, but so few tables!
Where got space to do research with books and laptops???
MC library is definitely more study-friendly!
Sigh... miss those long white tables on every floor.....

1 people hear.:
yes, i agree, they are study friendly. The big tables next to magazines are to read newspaper, the tables far from the magazines are to keep an eye on any pc, and the small ones meant to study for short period, when i had no time to run up and down and in hurry to run and i can disappear quick. The 1st floor, has the four chairs, not too long, not too short, i slept when i was just too tired and unmotivated, and those small ones i could sit down immediately once i found any scientific references. Usually my favorite at the far corner, particularly the night, it's quiet, and i had never been so concentrated as such before (even now).
The third floor has the big table, when i needed to be very far from people, and close to heaven, and i would lay out books to be read, and read. With the EGW books and other religious historical books, the tools for me to wonder away from all weary.
But all these are imaginary :) i spent most time in work and lecture, and that's. Mc, that's it to me. I think, i was just there to discover more about myself and improve alot more, the education of the heart.
