I remember... in one particular Psychology class, we were asked to describe ourselves in one word.
I chose the word tenacious.
This was about a year or so ago.
Since then, I have thought back to that moment during some pretty bad patches.
And I must say, I used to think of the word "tenacious" in a different light.
Now I believe, to be tenacious is not just to emerge victorious over the trials in one's life.
Rather, it is to be a malleable person - a person that believes in change and is able to find the courage to admit that certain perspectives on life just cannot stay the same anymore.
Without that malleability, one is not tenacious... just stubborn.
And there really is no point being stubborn if you end up being unhappy.
So I opt to be a happy person.
Not just simply to be, but to be happy.

1 people hear.:
yes but the problem will be how to make the judgment call to change or stay put. there are many situations to continue to hold on to what one believe. haha no worry, there's no hard and fast rule and it's something only that person can ask himself.
