Woke up today feeling like something the cat dragged in.
It took me about 45 minutes to peel myself out of bed and get going.
It's not that I did anything particularly strenuous last night... And I didn't sleep too late.
Guess I just haven't really turned into a morning person... yet.
So because I was so sleepy, I decided to test myself.
As I walked to my first class, I told myself - I will have a great day!
I put on a BIG smile, and started to feel better already.
I guess Grade 3B must have ESP, because I cannot take the credit for their good behaviour - they showed initiative by getting ready in time for my class. I was so proud of them!
Sometimes, I wonder if the little thoughts I sprinkle all through the day - about life, about success, about positive thinking... I wonder if they truly have an effect on these children.
But today, I believe. I truly believe that I am making a huge difference in their lives.
Our positive thoughts and good moods just bounced off each other in a magical sort of synergy... and Grade 3B and I had a fantastic time together!
Learning to be positive no matter what happens to us is NOT the easiest thing to do.
It sounds so simple... but when it comes to actually applying the concept... ohhh boy!
I told my kids I want to know what they become in about 10 years.
Hehehe...
Hopefully at least a few of them will remember me in 10 year's time and email me.
To be a part of shaping another's life is an amazing feeling that money cannot buy.

1 people hear.:
being a parent is a joy in itself. even if you play with a small child, it can get you to a good mood.
positivity in a child is something parents can cherish if they practice it themselves.
loved to read your post.
