WOW.
Talk about being motivated!
The last few weeks I've been happily staying in late at work to finish up the new class projects I'm excited about.
Today was Class Awards Day.
Our first ever.
Gave out a whole bunch of awards ranging from Most Cheerful to Most Improved Student.
Then after, I stayed behind to work on the class newsletter -3B Connect.
It's finished, printed, and will be vetted several times over the weekend.
I'm hoping to give it out by Tuesday next week or something.
Some days I sorta chase myself home... if not I'll get stuck here for who knows how long.
Currently, the sound of my typing reverberates in the empty Teachers' Room. The last person (besides me obviously!) left about an hour ago.
Do teachers get paid overtime?
I wish!
Around 5pm, all the computers in the Teacher's Room that are still on will try to auto shutdown. I've clicked the cancel button several times the last few week....
Clock out time is usually 3:30pm btw.
That's early you say?
Not if you've been at it practically non-stop since 7:15am....
The sun's beginning to set.... ok, that's it.... time to lllllllllleave the building!
