Some of us, it seems, go through the flames alone.
Even in reaching out, we are disappointed.
So we reach up.
He never fails.
But when will those around finally get it?
Do we concede defeat so easily, failing to claim His power in our lives?
Why is it that every single time I pray He sends someone, He answers the opposite.
What are you teaching me Lord?
How can I learn?
.... Because I surely must.
