Sometimes...

These days are filled with His peace.
Learning contentment is a lifelong process, and in a way, I'm glad it is, because life is so much richer that way...

I could easily feel much more jaded and washed out by life...
... then again, so could many other people in this lousy world we live in.
And yet, I'm amazed at how much of my silly dreamy self has been retained through this all.

Will I make the same mistakes of my youth (and some "un-youth", for that)?
I honestly don't know.
I'd like to think not...
But life has a way of making one eat your own words.

Like, "I'll NEVER work in Bangkok!"

So overall, I'm truly happier than I've ever been.
Only sometimes... when malcontent sets in...
I do wish I had that little bit more (that I could probably do without).
